Collaboration in Titanium and Steel Products
Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC; Representative Director and President, Mr. Kosei Shindo) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the European aircraft manufacturer Airbus, S.A.S. (headquartered in Toulouse, France; President and CEO, Mr. Fabrice Brégier) to expand collaboration in titanium and steel products. This MOU is focused on long-term business development related to the development and supply of titanium and steel products between NSSMC and Airbus.

By signing this new MOU, NSSMC will promote business expansion and research activities related to titanium and steel materials with Airbus.

Titanium is a material with various functions, namely, excellent lightness, strength and anti-corrosion properties. NSSMC will continue to strive to contribute to society by supplying competitive, high-quality materials in various fields including aircraft.
